The F2P package can be compiled into a distributable F2P Self Extractor which is a light weight and extremely fast file unpacker, ideal for distribution on CD, or over the internet. File2Pack is well adapted for file backup and restore operation. You can backup important files in your system by adding them to the F2P package. The update feature keeps these files synchronized with the original files. The restore feature restores selected files in the F2P package back to the system.

File2Pack graphical user interface (GUI) is elegant, practical, and fully customizable. The program has a modern interface designed for easy access and usage. Menu items have small icons for easy identification. The user can set the toolbar icons as small or large, in addition to the font type, size , and color, and background color of the file explorer window. F2P package files can be viewed as large icons, small icons, list, or report. File information columns can be added, removed, widened, and sorted.
